Education & Experience

Dr. Goehl received her undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania and, following graduate study in the Clinical Psychology Program at Bryn Mawr College, obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Yeshiva University in New York.

While in graduate school, she completed clinical training and practice at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and Cornell Payne Whitney Medical Center. Dr. Goehl completed an American Psychological Association approved child and adult doctoral internship in Clinical Psychology at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in NYC.

Dr. Goehl returned to the Philadelphia area in 1992 and served as a staff psychologist at the University of Pennsylvania and Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center for eight years. She served as the School Psychologist at Friends School Haverford, an independent school serving students aged 18 months through eighth grade for over 15 years. Dr. Goehl has maintained a private practice in Wynnewood and Philadelphia for the past 20 years.

Dr. Goehl collaborates with other professionals, psychiatrists, doctors, and teachers to coordinate and enhance progress.

Dr. Goehl is a licensed psychologist and a member of the American Psychological Association and the Specialists of Schools.
